Qazi Uzair Ali

I am a dual qualified lawyer, having been registered as an Advocate in the courts of Pakistan, and entitled to practice as a Registered Foreign Lawyer in England & Wales by the SRA.

I have been passionate about law since a young age which is why whilst doing LLB I started working part time for a London based Law firm and since then my legal journey continues.

Prior to working at Imperium Chambers, I have worked for 3 years (Full Time & Part Time) in a city based law firm as a Legal Assistant specializing in Immigration, Family, Human Rights and Medical/Clinical Negligence.

I wish to specialize in advice, representation and advocacy in all areas of Immigration, Asylum, nationality and deportation and expand my practice areas to family and other Civil practice areas.

I have accompanied multiple Barrister’s including a QC to hearings, ranging from the First Tier Tribunal to the Court of Appeal.

I did my early schooling until A levels from Pakistan and came to the UK in 2017.

I completed my LLB degree from East London University with Honours and was granted the membership of National Association of Licensed Paralegals. During my time at UEL, I was an active member of the mooting society and took part in a debate competition which took place in House of Lords, came 2nd in the competition. I was an active member of the legal aid centre as well assisting pro Bono clients across various areas like family and property disputes.

I then completed my Bar Vocational Studies & LLM in International ADR and International Commercial Arbitration from City University. During my time at City, I was a part of Freedom Law clinic (Criminal Pro Bono) and worked on two active criminal cases and drafted the grounds of appeal against convictions and sentences which were then submitted to the Criminal Cases review commission.
