Overview
Rob Steel-Browne is a Paralegal at Imperium Chambers. He joined in 2025, having recently completed the Bar Practice Course. He predominantly works on cases involving family visas, human rights claims and settlement applications.
Rob is an unregistered barrister, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in October 2025. As an aspiring barrister, Rob has strong experience in drafting and legal research.
Rob holds degrees from the University of Cambridge, University of Glasgow and University of Law. He is particularly interested in human rights law, in which he has conducted personal research projects, and has even had his work recognised by the Clooney Foundation for Justice.
Alongside his work, Rob’s interests include history, distance running, fencing and quizzing. In 2023, Rob appeared on TV representing Cambridge University on the quiz show University Challenge.
